CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS

Accurate translations for life’s big moments

Are you filing paperwork with government institutions? Applying for a work visa? Applying for study abroad programs? Getting married abroad? I get it. As an American who studied abroad in Spain, moved here for work, and then married here for love, I’ve been through it all.

In each of these cases, you may need a certified translation of your documents, and in most cases, an apostille from the state or country where they were issued.

A passport that is ready for Spanish/English translation.

These paperwork-heavy moments can be stressful. I’m here to make it easier on you.

I provide Spanish-to-English certified translations as required by USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services). If you need a sworn translation (traducción jurada) for immigration processes in Spain or an ATA-certified translation for other processes in the United States, I can put you in touch with trusted colleagues that provide those services.

(Certified translation requirements vary depending on the country where you are submitting your documents, which is why you should always make sure you know what type of certification is required before contacting a translator.)

Here are some examples of certified translations I offer:

  • Birth certificates

  • Death certificates

  • Marriage certificates

  • Divorce decrees

  • Transcripts

  • Diplomas

  • Bank statements

  • Apostilles

  • Passports

  • And more…
